Curator: Rasika Kajaria

Rasika Kajaria (age 38), wife of Chetan Kajaria, MD Kajaria Ceramics Ltd, is a New Delhi based patron and entrepreneur of the arts. Rasika founded Exhibit320, a contemporary art gallery in 2009, now successfully running in its 6th year. The gallery focuses on presenting and supporting emerging and established art practices in the sub-continent through exhibitions, publications and public programming.

Exhibit320 is among the few galleries to be bold enough to showcase and support emerging artists from India and the subcontinent. The gallery also supports ideas proposed by young curators and gives artists a platform for their first shows in India and abroad. Exhibit 320 has expanded to be one of the largest exhibition spaces in New Delhi, and through Rasika's pioneering vision was the driving force behind the launch of a non-profit platform, 1After320, as a way to extend cultural discourse in the region. 1After320 is at the forefront of philanthropic initiatives in the arts. It is the only such initiative in India and the subcontinent, which focuses of developing alternate forms of art and cultural conversations that is critical to its growth in India and its place in the global context.

Coming from a family of educationists, Rasika studied Economics Honours from St. Stephens College, New Delhi and collected art for over a decade before committing to being an integral part of its growth globally. Rasika's interests are multi-faceted and include a love for travel, both for pleasure and to take in the cultural offerings around the world. Her passion for work is equally balanced with her passion for her family, especially in raising her two vivacious sons, Kartik and Raghav.
